A Flash Swap is a DeFi function available in some Automated Market Makers (AMMs) like Uniswap v2 that lets users withdraw tokens from a pool before paying for them—so long as they return the equivalent value by the end of the transaction. If the condition isn’t met, the entire transaction reverts. Flash swaps are used for arbitrage, debt refinancing, and other advanced strategies that require temporary access to liquidity without upfront capital.
