A rich list displays the blockchain addresses or wallets that hold the highest balances of a specific cryptocurrency. Often featured on block explorers, rich lists provide transparency into asset distribution and can reveal concentration risks in token economies. They show wallet rank, address, and amount held. Rich lists are especially scrutinized in tokenomics analysis to detect whales (large holders), assess decentralization, and monitor insider behavior. While addresses are pseudonymous, large holdings can influence markets and governance outcomes significantly.
